Metropolitan University Prague Discussions on Africa

Metropolitan University Prague, in collaboration with the African Ambassadors' Group (Prague Africa Group) organized discussions on "The Prospects for Africa". HE Mrs. Zita Okaikoi delivered a paper on Ghana, which focussed on the opportunites for business and pleasure available in Ghana.

The Ambassadors and their audience noted that Africa's dark side tended to be presented to the world by international media groups in spite of the many good things happening on the continent. And besides many saw Africa to be a homogenous 'country', rather than a continent with diverse countries.

The event was success, judging from the interest exhibited by the students and lecturers of the University. The attendance was good and many interesting questions were asked. Students and faculty alike observed that they had been challenged to visit Africa. The University also requested for more of such presentations on Africa in the near future.
